Sloan A-38-A Regal Flushometer Repair Kit is a pre-assembled drop in kit. Toilet flush-valve diaphragm repair parts replace broken or worn diaphragm-type assemblies and parts within a flush valve (flushometer). Helps restore proper flushing and sealing. Diaphragm assemblies regulate pressure inside the valve using a flexible rubber disc (diaphragm) that seals the valve seat after each flush. Diaphragms that becomes worn or warped may either stick in place to prevent flushing or fail to seal so that the toilet keeps running. As a result the majority of flushometer malfunctions will be resolved with the replacement of this assembly.
Used for routine maintenance and repair of tankless-toilet flush valves, which are commonly found in high-use (more than 30 flushes per day) public, commercial, and institutional restrooms. Signs that a flushometer may need repair include leaking from the valve, water splashing from the bowl during flushing, and toilets that keep running.
